Trecia Knapp is a dynamic, driven entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in real estate sales, development, and startups. She consistently ranks among the top sales leaders, earning a place in the Top 100 at Sotheby's International Realty and the top 1.5% out of 1.6 million realtors nationwide (US).
Her first year in real estate set the tone for a successful career, as she was awarded Rookie of the Year. From there she was consistently among the top leaders in sales, generating almost $400M in sales, serving about 250 clients. She was one of the founding agents at Compass San Francisco. At Sotheby’s she was top agent in her office several times and earned in the Top 100 at Sotheby's International Realty and the top 1.5% of realtors nationwide. She is now at City Real Estate.
In addition to her sales achievements as a realtor, Trecia is a savvy real estate investor and developer. She purchased her first investment property at 23 and has her own Corporation Bettis Properties, Inc. where she has been the CEO and President for the last 21 years where she has managed all aspects of property purchases, renovations, marketing, and sales in California, Tennessee, Louisiana, Florida, South Carolina, New Mexico and Arizona. Trecia was a co-founder and co-Ceo of RECompanion.ai, an AI startup that brought cutting-edge technology to the real estate industry.
Trecia's real estate expertise is matched by her strong background in development and startups. Early in her career, she held leadership roles in building a training school at EDS that expanded to support 17 countries within the DOJ. As Director of HR at Headlight, an online learning company, she played a pivotal role in scaling the business, helping grow the company to over 90 employees in one year as well as being on the executive management team. Trecia's educational background includes a master’s degree in adult education from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in political science from the University of Tennessee.
